Harry is the BEST in the industry! He is the "Tiesto of the Armenian community" and MORE! He catered to both my husband's culture, Lebanese Armenian as well as my own, Chaldean! There was no other choice for us on our wedding day other than DJHyeFX. We knew we had to get the best in the business and we didn't want to mess with anyone else even if it meant we might save some money. There were no questions and we did not want to sacrifice quality. Harry knows what to do before you even do. He is so experienced in what he does, especially Armenian weddings. He makes sure you are aware of the schedule and what to expect way before the big day. He is very responsive to any texts and if there is a specific song you want and he doesn't have it, he WILL find it for you. We were not prepared for our main entrance music which was a traditional Armenian Anjartsi song. I texted Harry barely the night before with a sample of what we were looking for except a little more upbeat and he just said don't worry about it he will take care of it. I knew I had nothing to worry about. I had no idea what he was going to choose and I didn't even need to ask. His choice for our main entrance to the reception was perfect and exactly the way I was hoping it would sound. Our day would definitely not have been as special if it wasn't for Harry always keeping the crowd alive and entertained. There was so much food left over from our wedding that all our aunt's were saying - "There were only dancers and NO Eaters" lol. I had so many people ask me in the following weeks who our DJ was - that he was just so good and they had to have him for their event also. I was more than happy to pass down the information. Before I even decided on my wedding day, I had to make sure that Harry was available! I was very intent on having only the best- and Harry is the best. If you guys are looking for someone who can make your wedding unforgettable, its him. I did not have any other music or performers except for him and he lit up that room like there were 20 performers on stage. Never once did I have to worry about anything when it comes to his work- he knows what he's doing. He knows how to read a crowd really well! Do yourself a favor and hire Harry! We booked Harry for our wedding last July and we are so happy with the decision! Harry was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process; he explained how long sets would be, how to stagger speeches and activities in between sets, and helped us decide what song would be playing for our entrance. Everyone was on the dance floor the whole night thanks to his music selection. We gave him a list of songs which he also played. He knew when it was the right time to switch from American to Armenian or Arabic and vice versa. Harry was professional at all times. Many of our friends and family (some who were not Armenian) told us how great the music was at our wedding. I would recommend Harry to any individual planning an event! Harry is the most knowledgeable not just DJ but person I've ever spoke to about music, the guy knows everything! We always hire him for all our events and he is absolutely unbelievable, although he is still relatively young I believe he is in his late 30's he knows music from my era ( I am 58) and my kids era. If you're planning an event and looking for a good source for music, DJ Hye Fx is your go to man. I had the pleasure of using him for my birthday and he was absolutely amazing. I've seen him work his "magic" and several other events, and I fell in love with his mixes. Other Djs I've used in the past, play whatever they want; usually resulting in horrible music. Harry on the on the hand takes your suggestions, goes off that, and plays songs that has people dancing all night. On the night of my birthday, he had the dance floor PACKED. Keep in mind, the venue that my birthday was done at, was not meant to be a club, but Harry changed that! He has a wide variety of music that ranges from Armenian, to English, to Arabic and even Spanish. If you want it, and he doesn't have it, he'll get it. Harry's performances are never the same. You will get something different each time. Whether its the order of the songs, or how the songs are mix, they are never the same. He has an ear/6th sense for music that is incredibly refreshing. When you work with DJ Hye Fx, you get a new found glory for some songs. I have to be completely honest, one of his song/mixes are actually a ring tone on my phone. Other than music his immense professionalism compares to no other. He gets to know each of his clients on a personal level, which gives him the ability to feel his client out and figure out just what it is they want. I would not have had it any other way. He made my birthday one the most memorable I've ever had. Overall, I will never use a rookie DJ ever again. My go to man will be always DJ Hye Fx.

I had the pleasure of selecting Harry as the DJ for our wedding and I must say that I was the hero of the the night! It was very easy getting to know Harry and he's very pleasant to work with. He got a feel for my kind of music (Romanian) and played like he's been playing it for years. He made some great recommendations about the night, music and lights. Harry aka DJ Hye FX is known to be the absolute best DJ period in the armenian circles here in Los Angeles and that is for a reason because he has put in the love,dedication,effort and passion into his craft and it shows! He is by far head and shoulders above the rest of these "Johnny come lately" "DJs". Not only does he mix the best music seamlessly at your parties he also facilitates your entire wedding reception that's how much of a true professional he is...my advice, skip paying a planner or coordinator for your reception because Harry is on top of everything...I read an earlier review where someone said WOW..and really that's what you will say...He is an absolute expert at what he does and a lot of us already know this because a number of his apprentice djs that he has trained over the years are on this website and now have branched out on their own and even those djs get nothing but positive reviews because they are all products of his expertise but remember there is NO SUBSTITUTE for the ORIGINAL no matter what the cost, he is well worth it!
