Shakeh Haroutounian graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising with a degree in Interior Design. She has spent over ten years as a table top coordinator of Dansk International Design, where she was in charge of coordinating department store displays and major bridal events. Her creativity blossomed as a visual coordinator for Mikasa and Ralph Lauren at numerous department stores including Bloomingdales and Macy's. This passion led her to bridal events sponsored by InStyle Weddings and Martha Stewart Weddings. More importantly, this experience has allowed her to develop trustworthy relationships with distinguished vendors who have designed for the Academy Awards and Emmy Awards. She continues to decorate and re-imagine the spaces of private clients, as well as provides home staging for various real estate companies.

Rita Zakarian obtained a B.A. in Fashion and Textile Design from the Ealing College of Higher Education in London. Shortly after completing school, she moved to Los Angeles and began her career as a textile designer at Brush Off Art Studio. Her strong aptitude for design led her to work as the lead textile designer at Kronfli Spundale Mills Inc.  Here she was given the freedom to exhibit other creative talents which were immediately utilized.  She began designing lavish gifts for the company's high-profile clientele: Nike, Guess, Gap, and Max Studio.  She was also tasked to handle the interior design of their new corporate offices.  Rita eventually built a clientele of her own and left Kronfli Spundale Mills Inc. to work as an independent interior/exterior stylist.  For over a decade, her success is a direct reflection of her continuing design philosophy, to provide inspiring ideas and guidance in achieving the highest satisfaction of her clientele.

Would highly recommend!

We hired HomeArt & Events for our wedding, for same day coordinating. Could not be more satisfied with the service we received!! We were hesitant at first at even getting a coordinator because we didn't think it would be necessary, when in fact it turned out to be the best decision we made for the wedding. We met Shakeh a few times prior to the wedding to discuss details. She created a timeline for the day of our wedding, and was on top of everything throughout the day! She is very easy to work with, and extremely professional. Any issues that occurred that day was handled on the spot. She is also very talented with designs, made great recommendations at our reception which was very helpful. The wedding day/night went extremely smooth, we couldn't be happier. Would definitely recommend her services!
