An Engagement Story: Arsenio and Caitlin

High School sweethearts, Arsenio and Caitlin, met at a talent show in school and officially began dating on Thanksgiving, November 24, 2007. As they were about to celebrate their 8th year anniversary this year, Arsenio planned a beautiful and romantic surprise proposal for Caitlin. Arsenio planned every intricate detail for this perfect night and we're very excited to share their story with you. 

The proposal took place on November 20, 2015 and it all started on the roof at the W Hotel in Downtown Boston. Caitlin is a photographer and she thought she was hired by her mom's co-worker for a broker event at the W hotel. Before her arrival, Arsenio set up a video slide show and a romanic candlelit aisle on the roof top. Caitlin jokingly always says Arsenio resembles a Panda, so he dressed up in a Panda outfit as he waited for her to arrive. Caitlin checked in at the front desk and was greeted by the coordinator who led her to the event room. As Caitlin was thinking why she was being led through the back of the house towards the roof she was greeted by the Panda! Arsenio walked Caitlin through the aisle to watch the slideshow he made and that's when it all started coming to life. 

The video played photographs of the couple as John Legend's "All of Me" played in the background. After the video, Arsenio revealed himself, got down on one knee, and with a heartfelt speech and a three stone paved vintage inspired ring, asked Caitlin to marry him. Before he was done asking, she said yes in tears and in awe of the proposal. There was more! He then played a video of all of their friends and family congratulating them on their engagement. After they finished the video, Caitlin realized all of this was being captured by a videographer and photographer! 

The couple then went to a beautiful suite where they celebrated with a Champagne toast. After their private celebration, they went to Boston Public Garden to take some engagement photos. Arsenio then surprised Caitlin with a horse drawn carriage to take them to a dinner at Top of the Hub, which has the most beautiful view of Boston at 50 stories high. 

Right when Caitlin thought their fairytale proposal was coming to an end, they were greeted with friends and family at their hotel room to continue to celebrate their engagement. 

The next morning, Arsenio and Caitlin went on a surprise road trip to Pocono Mountains where they stayed at a couple's resort ending this wonderful, romantic weekend and letting it all sink in.
