We recently found out about the Sand Ceremony and wanted to share it with our brides. For anyone planning an outdoor wedding and looking for something a bit less traditional for their ceremony, this is a great idea to incorporate into your wedding!

We first heard about the Sand Ceremony thanks to Minister Rev. Ogannes, a Non-Denominational Ordained Minister. Rev Ogannes shared "I have been introducing it to my Armenian brides for the last couple of years and they all love it but surprisingly have never heard of it until I share it with them. I am sure many more brides will love the idea and incorporate it into their ceremonies to come."
 

As trends in fashion, cuisine and beauty are constantly evolving, so are standards in the wedding industry. Weddings have become a reflection of the latest styles and tastes across every imaginable market. And one major trend that’s adapted its way into ceremonies and receptions is technology.

Just like the vows, “For better or for worse,” tech is here to stay, for better or for worse. While the addition of technology into weddings has been met with mixed reviews among brides, there’s no denying that our obsession for all things digital has caused a big shift in matrimonial behaviors.

Over Memorial Weekend, Kim and Kanye tied the knot in Florence, Italy! This might be Kim's third wedding, but she certainly did not put any limits for wedding #3! Kim wore a custom design gown from Givenchy Haute Couture. She chose a long sleeved lace wedding gown with a stunning back, a dramatic train, and a cathedral veil. Kanye looked handsome in his Givenchy tux. E! posted the first official wedding photo which shows the couple kissing with a gorgeous custom 20 foot floral wall as their backdrop. The couple had a black & white photo booth so you can find plenty of photos from their wedding guests on Instagram!

This week we are excited to feature Khach and Gayane's wedding! Khach and Gayane got married in Fresno, CA and Evan Photography captured all the memories from the event. The couple was married at the First Armenian Presbyterian Church and the reception took place at the Fresno Bankers Ballroom. We especially love the bright and colorful photos the couple took at the Shinzen Japanese Garden.

The ladies at Pass the Bouquet recently designed and coordinated an inspiring bohemian bridal shoot that would be a perfect segue into the upcoming spring and summer wedding seasons. So we spoke with the ladies to find out more detail about their beautiful bohemian bridal photo shoot!

So she reached out to us and wanted to share her tips with our Harsanik.com users!

While traditional Armenians do not typically have wedding registries and instead prefer to give cash as the gift, more and more couples are choosing to create a registry, especially keeping in mind their non-Armenian friends and family members. While cash might be the preferred gift based on your culture, not all cultures are comfortable doing this and thus it's a good idea to have a registry.
