I have known Sevag for a long time and I always send him referrals including my brothers wedding last year. When it was my turn... I knew exactly who would make our night special and that was Sevag! He is professional, kind, and a musical genius, who doubles as a physic. He knows exactly the feel you want to capture at your wedding, giving you and your guests the exact mixes that will have them on their feet all night.
At some point throughout our wedding, we tried 3 times to visit with tables and toast each one, but every time we looked around NOT a single person was seated they were all on the dance floor! He has the toughest job of the evening and does it with a sense of calm. Also if you have him you really do not need a day planner...he maps out the entire evening, and is constantly communicating with you to help move the evening along smoothly.

Our wedding on 3/16/13 was at Anoush on Glenoaks in Burbank. DJSevag was our DJ and he was such a big part of making our day run smooth and ensuring that it was unforgettable for both us and our family and friends. Sevag is an amazing DJ with the greatest selection of music. He really made it a priority to listen to what we wanted and made it happen. We really couldn't have done it without him. Sevag exceeded my expectations when he was the top player in making sure the reception went smoothly. He asked for a schedule of how we wanted the night to run and he was so great in advocating for it. I was in such good hands I didn't even stress about it. He also had an amazing way of being so personable and sweet yet professional. We really owe a lot to him and are thankful for the amazing experience. We highly recommend him!

My husband and I got married last month on 06-15-2013. When we decided to interview with DJ SEVAG, we knew nothing of him. We had never seen him live before so we didn't know what to expect. Naturally, we were a bit nervous in the beginning, because the DJ is such an important part of a wedding. But once we met with him, we we were sure that we wanted him as our DJ. He is a very nice and humble person. He was open to our comment/concerns and wanted to hear what we had to say. We went over the wedding timeline, songs we like / songs we don't like; he edited the entrance songs for the wedding party; and he was always in full communication with us and never tried to get rid of us for asking too many questions or visiting him too many times. Fortunately, we made an amazing choice. We could not have picked a better DJ. He played the best music at our wedding, totally reading the crowd at every moment. He switched from Armenian, to American, to Latin and Arabic in a seamless way. He is also a superb MC. We had a mixed crowd of middle eastern, latin, american; but he was able to put everything into the mix. People did not stop dancing for one minute and even the hotel staff told us what an upbeat crowd we were. And this was all possible thanks to DJ SEVAG. We highly recommend him for wedding, engagement or any other occasion with music involved.

As soon as I started my wedding planning, I knew who my DJ would be- DJ Sevag. I have seen DJ Sevag at work throughout the years and have loved his musical taste so it was an easy choice for me. We hired him for our wedding (5.26.13). Sevag was very professional from the get go: I appreciated having a contract that clearly explained the agreement between us, he responded to emails and questions promptly, and he had a lot of insight/advice when I asked. The week of the wedding, we emailed back and forth and communicated via telephone (he also meets clients in person if that is your preference) about song choices, the wedding timeline, and all other questions/concerns. The day of- he was not only a dj but a wedding coordinator! He kept us on track with our timeline through calm/matter of fact manner, even when it wasn't related to music (i.e. "it's time to cut the cake"). For those of us who don't have a wedding coordinator, this is a HUGE asset. He is an expert at reading the crowd and playing what they want. My crowd was especially challenging as the crowd was split almost 50/50 between a younger and older generation. For a dj to be able to keep both generations happy and having fun....now that is an accomplishment! Most importantly, he was a person of his word delivering what he said he would- a good time had by all! Highly recommend him for any occasion, but especially a wedding :)

Dj Sevag was fantastic from the get go.. We hired Dj Sevag to dj our engagement a year ago which he did amazing and hired him for the wedding as well which was 4.6.13... Dj Sevag is very personable. He made us feel comfortable and confident our wedding would be a hit.. We had a huge Armenian wedding where the dance floor was packed throughout the night. He dj-ed the best music which made our night even more memorable. He is an amazing Dj and a great person all around. Highly recommended!!!

My husband and I were married on October 14, 2012, at Anoush Banquet Hall on Glenoaks (Glendale, CA). In the year prior, during all the planning that goes into a big fat Armenian wedding, someone told me that, at the end of it all, the only things that really matter are the yummy food, your photos (memories), and the entertainment. And that person was spot on right! My husband and I knew we had made the absolute best decision in having Sevag DJ our wedding!!! He has every type of song you can imagine: genre, language, etc. He really knows how to properly flow from one song to the next. And he really caters to the crowds' needs. He is very professional, poised and well dressed!!! My husband is not Armenian; therefore, some of our guests were not Armenian. So of course I was a little worried as to how my new in-laws would react to our music...But with Sevag DJ-ing our wedding, that was not a problem! There was literally not one person sitting the entire night!!! Our Armenian and non-Armenian guests were partying all night!!! The dance floor was packed and everyone was having a great time!!! Even till today our guests tell us how much fun they had dancing at our wedding!!! And that truly is the best thing to hear because at the end of it all, you really want everyone to have a fun, enjoyable and memorable night!!!

Every bride-especially Armenian brides-know how important the music is for a great and fun wedding. When my husband and I were planning ours which was at Pandora on Green in Pasadena last year, one of the first things he said to me was "we have to get DJ Sevag!" Now I see why. He is AMAZING! He played the BEST music, was extremely professional, very accommodating, and was genuinely interested in and committed to providing us with the best possible service and music to make our day really special. Working with Sevag was amazing! He absolutely fulfilled each and every wedding day request we had and made sure to get thru all of them at the reception. Sevag did a great for our wedding. My wife is Lebanese Arabic and I am half Lebanese Armenian. He was very knowledgeable about both types of ethnic music and when to use them (ceremony/reception). Most importantly, he LISTENED to us and our requests and delivered 100%. When we asked him to pick music, he delivered, and of course, he played what we specifically had planned.

I remember commenting to my (then) fiancee that I was impressed four days before the wedding when we went through every part of the ceremony/cocktail hour/reception in extreme detail. Afterward, he read it all back to us from the very beginning to make sure he had it all correct. This gave us extreme confidence.

My husband and I had the privilege of hiring DJ Sevag for our wedding reception and were very pleased with his services. Sevag not only provided our guests with well-balanced entertainment, but he also managed the evening agenda's timeline. Our wedding coordinator and dining hall captain looked to him for direction and guidance.

Sevag took the initiative to visit our reception site and familiarize himself with the venues dimensions and overall ambiance to ensure he was well equipped for the big day. The placement of his equipment (speakers, wires, etc) were so well disguised that it did not interfere with the venue's decor. The music level was well heard and generated a great party vibe yet it wasn't overbearing.

Sevag was the DJ for our wedding on May 27th, 2012 and I can't begin to describe how incredible happy we were to have chosen him. We had Sevag as our DJ for our wedding on May 5, 2012. He is very professional and very easy to work with. From beginning to end he had the crowd on their feet. Everyone was up dancing no matter what songs were played from Armenian to Polish. He kept the crowd going all night long. He kept great pace with the music, he didn't switch from fast to slow songs back to fast songs to throw the crowd off. Everyone asked me where I found him and they ranted and raved about him. While planning our engagement party, we believed that the key to a fun and memorable night would be having a good DJ. We have heard a lot about Sevag but never had the chance to listen to his music. We decided to work with him for our engagement after communication through email and we could not have done a better choice. January 28 was our big day and he managed to make it a memorable and extremely fun night with his wide selection of songs from armenian, arabic, greek, spanish, and top 40. DJ Sevag is awesome! He DJed our wedding at Armenian Society of Los Angeles this past September. When first searching for a DJ, I was very intimidated because I did not know what makes a good DJ or if I would like them.
